Just wanted to share this coverage from the New York International Auto Show, that gives us a first look at some of the features inside the new RDX. Not sure how I feel about the push button gear selector and the touch pad that's mandatory to use for the infotainment system.

Ugh push button gear selection. I mean I get that they are going for a premium feel in the new RDX, but this just takes away from the connected driving experience imo. Luckily it looks like the new powertrain should make this the most fun to drive RDX to date.

Most traditional shifters are already electronic for the most part. The buttons simply save some space and allow for some more creative console designs. I for one am happy to see Acura going with some original designs in the new RDX.
